Welcome to Bajetiyo. By accessing or using our personal finance management platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including both free tier users and Pro subscription members.

2. Description of Service

Bajetiyo is a personal finance management platform that helps users track their finances, manage budgets, categorize transactions, and gain insights into their spending patterns. The Service is available in two tiers:

  • Free Tier: Limited features including 100 transactions, 5 budgets, 10 rules, and other feature limits as described on our pricing page.
  • Pro Subscription: Unlimited access to all features including transactions, budgets, rules, categories, accounts, and priority support.

3. Account Registration

To use Bajetiyo, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensuring your email address is current and valid

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Bajetiyo, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Not use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Not use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
  • Not share your account credentials with others
  • Provide accurate financial data when using the Service
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Payment Terms

Free Tier: The free tier is provided at no cost with feature limitations as described on our pricing page.

Pro Subscription:

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $2.99/month
  • Payment is processed through Paddle, our payment processor
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or specified in our Refund Policy

6. Cancellation and Termination

By You: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
  • Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free Tier
  • Your data will be preserved but subject to Free Tier limitations

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Your payment method fails and is not updated
  • We are required to do so by law

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bajetiyo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Data: You retain all rights to the financial data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely to provide the Service to you.

License to Use: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal financial management purposes.

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service

Bajetiyo is a financial management tool, not a financial advisor. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAJETIYO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Financial decisions made based on information in the Service

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bajetiyo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your financial data or decisions

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date
  • Sending an email notification to your registered email address

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms, you agree to first contact us at support@bajetiyo.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
